Tapping Into Theology -
Do you have questions you’re ashamed or embarrassed to ask in church? Maybe you’d feel a little more free to raise them in an Irish pub!  Join us each second and fourth Tuesday at 7:45 p.m. in the Kilkenny Room at Molly Brannigan’s (660 Washington Road) for lively discussion with a great group of people.

Spirituality and Prayer -
This discussion-based group meets each Thursday at Noon in the Parlour to pray for our church and community and for one another and to discuss a variety of books and subjects as we seek to become stronger disciples and to move deeper in our relationship with God. No experience necessary. All are welcome. Led by Frank Stricklen.

Adult Christian Education
- We encourage all adults to join us at 9:50 a.m. Sunday mornings in the class that best suits your spiritual needs.

Sell Bible Class
The Sell Bible Class is a welcoming group that enjoys a weekly Bible study and fellowship.  During January, the life and ministry of Jesus will be studied. The Sell class meets in Southminster House. Led by Dr. Pat Albright and others.

Southminster Scholarship Program
Once again it is time for our college students and high school seniors to make application for grants from the Southminster Presbyterian Church Scholarship Program. Each year a limited number of grants may be made from funds available through the Warren “Clif” Bulette, III, Memorial Scholarship, the Alicia H. Connor Memorial Scholarship, the Eleanor Edwards Memorial Scholarship, and from funds generously provided by the Southminster Endowment Committee, the Presbyterian Women in Southminster and individual gifts. Application is to be made by completing a form that may be obtained from the Church Office or online. Those college students who filed an application last year are reminded that a new form must be completed this year in order to be considered for a grant for the school year 2010-2011. Applications are to be returned to Marian Kakitsis in the Church Office no later than May 17, 2010. Southminster members may help insure that funds are available in the future by making donations to the Scholarship Program. Donations may be sent to the Church Office addressed to the Southminster Scholarship Program.  Application Form

SOUTHMINSTER RECYCLES!  Bright green and yellow containers - called Abitibi Paper Retrievers® - are now located in the Southminster Parking Lot. In an effort to lessen the load on our landfills and to be good stewards of God’s beautiful creation, we are inviting you to join us in paper recycling. Please collect your magazines, shopping catalogs, newspaper, office and school papers and mail and get in the habit of dropping them off in the bins on Sunday mornings or when you visit the church or library. Additional information and recycling guidelines are available online at the following links: Southminster program details  How paper recycling works.
