again it is time for our college students and high school seniors to
make application for grants from the Southminster Presbyterian Church
Scholarship Program. Each year a limited number of grants may be made
from funds available through the Warren “Clif” Bulette, III, Memorial
Scholarship, the Alicia H. Connor Memorial Scholarship, the Eleanor
Edwards Memorial Scholarship, and from funds generously provided by the
Southminster Endowment Committee, the Presbyterian Women in
Southminster and individual gifts. Application is to be made by
completing a form that may be obtained from the Church Office or
online. Those college students who filed an application last year are
reminded that a new form must be completed this year in order to be
considered for a grant for the school year 2010-2011. Applications are
to be returned to Marian Kakitsis in the Church Office no later than
May 17, 2010. Southminster members may help insure that funds are
available in the future by making donations to the Scholarship Program.

papers and mail and get in the habit of dropping them off in the bins
on Sunday mornings or when you visit the church or library. Additional
