GROW, PROCLAIM, SERVE! (GPS)

 “Your faithfulness is growing by leaps and bounds, and the love that all of you have for each other is increasing.” — 2 Thessalonians 1:3 
 
Grow, Proclaim, Serve! Grow Your Faith by Leaps and Bounds incorporates Bible stories, activities, crafts, media, and games into a full faith experience for children. With Grow, Proclaim, Serve! children will develop the skills to unlock the Bible message and grow their faith by leaps and bounds.
 
With Grow, Proclaim, Serve! as children grow in mind and body, they also grow in heart and soul. Grow, Proclaim, Serve! will nourish and enrich children, from birth through tweens, in faith so they can proclaim the good news of God’s love and serve God and neighbor. Children will realize their faith goes with them as they grow.


 

CONFIRMATION, GRADE 8
Our goal during this Confirmation year is for our Eighth Graders to make their faith their own.  We ask for a year-long commitment which will culminate with each Confirmand writing his or her own personal Statement of Faith.  During the year, we meet every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. in the Parlour where we ask the hard questions and learn about our Presbyterian traditions.  The class has two mandatory retreats in the Fall and Spring to Windy Ridge Camp and will take some other field trips along the way.  Matt Caldwell and Peggy Wucher lead the class.  All other pastoral staff members teach at least one class.
