Other Mission Involvement and Support

“Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace…”
– 1 Peter 4:9-10

Angel Tree

Each November Angel Trees are placed in Fellowship Hall and in the Narthex. Decorative tags include the name of a child or adult along with a Christmas gift idea. Members select a tag, purchase a gift, and return it to the church for holiday distribution by area agencies. Organizations represented on the Angel Tree have included South Hills Interfaith Ministries, Sojourner House, Lydia’s Place, Presbyterian SeniorCare, Amachi Mentoring, The Open Door, and winter kits for the homeless. This is an especially popular outreach the whole family enjoys. Angel Tree gifts help to ensure that no one is left out as we celebrate the birth of our Savior. For information contact the Church Office at 412-343-8900.
